Extra activities

The following extra-curricular activities are available at Parsons Down Infant School.

Arts Academy

This club is run on a Monday from 3.30 to 4.30 pm. It costs £5 per week. The children enjoy doing modern street dancing, singing and drama. For more information contact 01189 504524 or artsacademy@talktalk.net.

Choir

Year 2 children who enjoy singing are invited to join the Monday lunchtime choir with Mrs Fakes. (Free)

Martial Arts

Mr Clive Elliot holds Martial Arts Classes on Mondays after school. There is one children's class and one adult class. The cost and times of these are available from the school office (01635 862475).

Football

Mr Gavin Sheppard runs two Football Clubs after school. Year One is on Tuesday and Year Two on Wednesday. These take place in the Autumn Term, second half of the Spring Term and Summer Term. The cost of these sessions is available from the school office (01635 862475).

Jimmu Karate Club

Jimmu Karate Club meet on Wednesdays from 6.00 - 8.00 p.m. Anybody from 5 to 105 welcome. First lesson is free. For more information call Darren on 07775 510143 or 01488 684510.

Judo

A judo club meets at Parsons Down Junior School on Wednesday mornings before school. Infant children who attend are brought to the Infant School by the tutor at the end of the session.

Wildlife Club

A lunchtime club to help the wildlife around the school, run exclusively for Year 2 by Mrs Main. (Free)
